Dance Wellness
Dance Wellness is a field of study and practice that is concerned with the well-being and health in the dancer to improve career longevity, reduce the risks of injury, and enhance performance. It can employ to use of sports medicine principles of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition along with practices of Pilates, Alexander technique, and dance training.
A dance medicine team can include:

The Dance Wellness Team is a collaborative effort between these medical practitioners, dance teachers/faculty, artistic directors, and the dancers themselves.
