Jane D’Angelo has served as the OhioDance Executive Director since 2003.

In 2022, Jane D’Angelo received a Crown Award, for exemplary service to the community and dedication to the art form of dance; a Grace Award, honoring excellence in dance, as a Community partner with OhioDance; as producer of the OhioDance Documentary film “Ohio: A State of Dance” was awarded gold and two silver awards from the 43rd annual Telly Awards; and  nominated by the 58th Regional Emmy Awards, Ohio Valley Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, for outstanding achievement in arts/entertainment for long form content.

D’Angelo serves on the board of Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, as secretary and advocacy chair. She is co-chair of Dance/USA’s Archiving and Preservation Affinity Group and former Dance/USA board member serving as national Service Council Chair. She is the project director for the National Endowment for the Arts and Ohio Arts Council funded project: OhioDance Virtual Dance Collection®. D’Angelo is an advisory member for The Ohio Department of Education Fine Arts Standards revision. She participated in the executive fellowship program in the Academy for Leadership and Governance at the Jefferson Center, Columbus. She has been a guest speaker at the Ohio State University Department of Dance and Otterbein University. Jane has served as a panelist for Culture Works, and has adjudicated for a variety of organizations. D’Angelo holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University. She has an extensive background in dance and dance education, both performing and teaching dance to children and adults.

 

Trezon Dancy is the OhioDance part-time Program and Operations Manager. Trezon Dancy is a Choreographer, Performing Artist, and Educator. He received his BFA in Dance: Performance and Choreography from Ohio University in 2017. Upon Graduation, Dancy accepted a First Company position with the world-renowned Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. Dancy resides in Columbus, Ohio where he continues his independent work. Dancy has a business background as a Dispute Resolutions Manager. Trezon Dancy began working with OhioDance on February 1, 2023.
