GroundWorks has become an artistic gem in Cleveland Ohio, dedicated
to the creation of new work in dance. The company is entering its
12th anniversary season. Artists will work closely with artistic director
David Shimotakahara as well as nationally and internationally recognized
choreographers, and composers of new music. The work often involves
live music collaboration. Current repertory includes work by
Zvi Gotheiner, KT Neihoff, Gina Gibney, David Parker,
Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer, Beth Corning,
Keely Garfield, Alex Ketley, Amy Miller and
Dianne McIntyre among others.
The company’s training is based in ballet, but works
beyond categories.
Compensation:
Annual contract starting at $20,000 with benefits.

Inspiral Motion / GYROTONIC® Cleveland is offering 2 Intern / Scholarship positions in 2009 - 2010. To qualify, you must first make an appointment for a Private Audition. The Audition will consist of a 90-minute GYROKINESIS® class and a 3-hour introduction on the Pulley Tower. The interview portion includes a panel interview, program overview and all candidates must have a movement sequence prepared as a part of your teaching audition.
